High Rise

At the epicenter of Phoenix’s cultural and entertainment venue district, this 34-story, 523,619 SF high-rise building is the tallest residential building in the state. The design incorporated the use of vertical movement from the exterior of the building. The five vertical fins that extend beyond the front of the structure repeat throughout the interiors as well. The building features 7 floors of above-ground parking, 196 units, pool, spa, outdoor terrace and sundeck, and other amenities are located on the 8th floor. Retail shops are located on the ground floor.

Value Analysis often provides project cost savings, allowing more of the budget to be utilized for additional architectural features or improved aesthetics. A specific PKA example is 44 Monroe — the building was originally designed for 32 stories. Our efficient structural design saved the project enough money to add 2 extra stories resulting in a 34 stories building at the same construction budget.
