Catalina Parking Garage

Located in the revitalized Park Central Mall area, the 11-level Catalina Parking Garage is the tallest parking structure in Arizona. The 2,000-space pre-cast concrete structure provides parking for Dignity Health, the public, and residents of the 200 unit apartment complex located on the east end. Levels 7 through 10 were designed to accommodate potential future conversion to office or residential space. “The New Archive,” consisting of six 21’ x 10’ murals, adds a unique art component to the side of the parking structure. The parking garage was a public-private partnership between Plaza Companies and the city of Phoenix through the creation of a community facilities district, a special taxing district that financed the cost of the facility.
