The Scottsdale Community College (SCC) Business School and Indigenous Scholars Institute/Cultural Center provides education in a place designed to celebrate Native American culture. The new 32,719 SF Cloud Song Center is comprised of classrooms, a library, support space and faculty offices. The building also houses the Sun Earth Alliance Indian Club, open to all SCC students and the community. The exterior consists of precast concrete walls; after curing, the embedded Saguaro cactus ribs were burned, leaving behind a unique design. LEED Certification is in process.
