Toy Barn

PK Associates has designed four Toy Barn projects. Toy Barn provides upscale garage/storage units for individual ownership – a condominium of sorts, and a clubhouse for member use.

Toy Barn  – Scottsdale, AZ – LGE Design Build

Three new recreational vehicle storage buildings: 7,422 SF with a 600 SF mezzanine; 9,861 SF with a 1,432 SF mezzanine; 2-story 7,422 SF  clubhouse with a 600 SF mezzanine. All ceilings are 18′ high; individual units range from 960 to 3,000 SF. Construction types for all buildings are wood/steel hybrid roof supported on masonry walls on concrete over steel deck floors and spread footings. Project Photos are shown below.

Toy Barn at Chandler Airpark – Chandler, AZ – DLR Group

Phase 1: Three buildings totaling 90,620 SF on a 6.4-acre site. Each building is comprised of CMU construction and steel deck and roof joists. Two-story Toy Barn clubhouse is 2,600 SF CMU construction with exterior glazed storefront system.

Phase 2: Three buildings totaling 41,948 SF. Each building is comprised of CMU construction with a steel deck and roof joists.

Toy Barn North – Cave Creek, AZ – DLR Group/Brycon

4 buildings totaling 85,346 SF on a 5.27-acre site. Each building is constructed of CMU construction with a steel deck and roof joists.
